Bhagavad Gita

Bhagavad Gita

Wednesdays 6:30-8pm

An eight week class on the Bhagavad Gita will begin on Wednesday, September 18th at 6:30 p.m.  Poetic and profound, the Gita is the most widely read and best loved of all Hindu scriptures. It’s story unfolds on the battlefield where the warrior, Arjuna, has had his chariot driven on the eve of battle; and the dialogue between Arjuna and Krishna  (his driver, friend and God incarnate) deals with the most profound issues of the Hindu faith. The “perennial philosophy” of the Gita is as timely today as when it was written and contains many parallels with the teachings of both Unity and Modern Science.
