Mexican Train Game Day
First Thursday of Each Month
This has been playing socially at one another's homes for several years. For those who have never played, it is a domino game of up to eight players at a table where each player tries to get rid of all of their tiles to win the game. There is never a charge for playing the game although group members may leave a Love Offering for Unity in honor of allowing us to use their facility.
Currently, there are 14 players but the monthly group playing is usually around six to ten. The group is very interested in growing as they see playing Mexican Train as a fun and enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. They consider themselves primarily a social group and keep contentious subjects such as politics out of the conversation as best for the good of the health and happiness of the group including not taking the rules of the game “too” seriously as other Mexican Train groups may use different variations in their rules.
Mexican Train is open to all who wish to play (men and women). Please join us and remember, you really don't have to know how to play to start as it seems the first timers are often the winners of the game!
