2026 World Day of Prayer

Love Is Alive: World Day of Prayer 2026

Thursday, September 10, 2026Unity of the Hill CountryOpen Chapel Prayer Vigil | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

2026 marks the 33rd Annual World Day of Prayer, a sacred tradition that brings people around the world together in prayer.

World Day of Prayer is a reminder of the quiet strength found in faith, reflection, and hope. It is a day to pause, turn within, pray, and send love and kindness into the world.

Each year on World Day of Prayer, Unity Village enters into a 24-hour prayer vigil, joined by people from around the globe. Tens of thousands of prayer requests are held in this sacred vigil, affirming the spiritual truth that we are never separate from God or from one another.

Here at Unity of the Hill Country, we will join this worldwide prayer consciousness by opening our chapel on Thursday, September 10, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for continual prayer.

You are invited to come at any time during these hours. Enter the quiet of our chapel, spend a few moments in prayer or meditation, hold someone you love in prayer, or simply rest in the awareness of the Divine Presence within and around you.

Whether you stay for a few minutes or spend a longer time in sacred stillness, you are part of something much larger—a circle of prayer reaching across communities, countries, and continents.

2026 World Day of Prayer Theme: Love Is Alive

This year's theme is:

Love Is Alive

Love is more than an emotion. In Unity, we recognize love as a divine power within us—the spiritual activity that unites, heals, harmonizes, and calls forth the highest good.

As we unite our hearts and minds with people around the globe, we affirm together:

Love leads me. Faith steadies me. Prayer carries me forward.

2. Where is love nudging me to grow—inviting me to trust more deeply, forgive more fully, or imagine more boldly?

3. How can I allow the activity of love to move through me in tangible ways that bring healing, harmony, or justice into the world around me?

Join Us in Prayer

On September 10, we invite you to join us—whether in our chapel, from your home, or wherever you may be—and add your heart and prayers to this worldwide spiritual community.

Every prayer matters. Every loving thought contributes to the consciousness of our world. Every time we choose love over fear, compassion over judgment, and faith over uncertainty, Love Is Alive through us.

Together, we become prayer in motion and faith in action.

**Love leads me.

Faith steadies me. Prayer carries me forward.**

Love Is Alive.
